What you’ll do

As a Business Analyst, you'll work closely with stakeholders to gather, manage, and prioritise their requirements, ensuring that business needs are met with efficient, data-driven solutions. You will play a key role in bridging the gap between business goals and technical execution. 

Your day to day will include:

  • Analysing and understanding a business problem or opportunity

  • Undertaking research and analysis to understand how a business or business area works, considering the people, organisation, processes, information, data and technology

  • Identifying areas for improvement, explore feasible options, analyse the effects of change and define success measures

  • Identifying and elaborating user and business needs to enable effective design, development and testing of services and business change

  • making decisions related to prioritisation and minimum viable product by using analysis led insights

  • Ensuring new products and services meet business and user needs, and are aligned with organisational goals

  • Understanding any business and policy constraints that need to be considered, and assess the implications

What we’re looking for

  • Strong analysis skills to investigate business goals and objectives using relevant information and data to support the definition of requirements

  • Proficiency in technical tools and software is essential, including:

    • Data analysis and statistical analysis

    • Microsoft products, Service Now, Jira, Azure DevOps

    • SQL and other programming languages like Python

    • Wireframing and modeling

  • A bachelor's degree is the minimum requirement, with preferred majors including business administration, finance, economics, computer science, information technology, data science, or management information systems.

  • Experience with agile working and project management frameworks

  • Excellent problem-solving and stakeholder management skills

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills to present findings in an easy-to-understand way to support decision making

We are based in the Canary Islands, Spain.  To apply for this vacancy you will need to have the right to work in Spain. The role can only be performed remotely within Spain. We are unable to hire candidates who require relocation or visa support.
